Merlot

Our Merlot comes from a small vineyard with 3,000 vines. An elegant, structured and persistent red wine, featuring overpowering fruity aromas balanced by sweet notes of vanilla, resulting from a period spent in wooden casks. On the palate it is warm and enveloping, with a smooth and very persistent finish.

• Process

  By thinning out we select a few grape bunches for each plant and by defoliating we expose them to the sun so that they ripen perfectly. After manual harvesting, the grapes ferment in wooden casks, followed by aging for at least 12 months in oak barriques.

• Tasting notes

  Its bouquet is a burst of fruit, with sweet notes of vanilla, resulting from a period spent in wooden casks. On the palate, it is warm and enveloping, with smooth tannins and a very lingering finish. It pairs well with red meat, game and mature cheeses. The label recalls the flowers of our lands, which are worked with the utmost respect for the biodiversity of the natural environment.
